The Homestead Miami Speedway, found in the South Dade area provides an electrifying attraction throughout the entire year. Fast Lane Friday is a legal drag race held once every month. This race takes place in the track’s 1,700 ft. straightway. This race is open to anyone—so long as they are above 18 years and have a valid driver’s license.

Vice City Rollers

This is the first and only all-ladies flat-track roller derby league in Miami. So, in case you haven’t seen these ferocious ladies in action, brace yourself for an exhilarating experience, with this full-contact, fast- paced sport.

The sport’s season runs from April to October. Therefore, you have a lot of chances to attend one of these matches—you can even register for a Roller Derby class, and get to enjoy a taste of the sport firsthand.

Exploring Miami by Air

Ziplining

Tucked deep inside Watson Island and between Miami Beach and Downtown Miami, the Jungle Island is the home to rare and striking animals, as well as jungle experiences. Also, there’s a new addition—very intense zip-lining, adding some new action and adventure to the island. Currently, there are 7 zip lines,
14 feet tall installed in the park, and this includes one zip line that allows guests to glide around the park in a tandem harness.

This “Superflight” at Jungle Island allows one to experience the excitement of flying without a parachute at speeds of up to 120 mph. Other attractions include the lazy river and blue lagoon wave pool, ideal for sailing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking.
